Below is a list of some of the work we have completed for some clients in the past.
The National Documentation Centre on Drug use (Ireland – HRB) wanted to update their library from its existing system. We implemented an eprints solution for them. A difficult part of the process was the migration of data from a MS SQL 2005 database to a mySQL database. The mapping of characters utf-8 based, and the transformations/mappings from field to field proved the most time consuming challenging part of the project.
The ICBF came to us having heard of our very strong abilities in complex task automation. They needed a back-end system for managing their extremely large database of information. They needed a system with which you could lookup information and edit it as you see it. The relationships between data were many, complex and varied, requiring a very solid architecture. We designed an ajax framework that delivered on all of these requirements. This was also an example of how we worked well with the ICBF’s own development team.
The Health Research Board (HRB) was interested in getting a web application to catalog their own staff’s skills, experience and interests. Staff can login and update their own profiles. This incentive is aimed at better understanding and using their human resources. The application is used internally by the HRB.
Thrifty Ireland and Europcar Ireland – Online Car Booking Engine
Thrifty Ireland came to us looking for a web booking engine, one that would allow them to edit rates, clear credit cards, manage partners, resellers and gold card customers all from a single administration interface.
Clontarf Rugby Club were looking for an updated version of their website that would allow them to update their site content with news and fixtures and allow them to integrate their social media efforts with their website.
We designed and developed a WordPress theme and developed some custom plugins to allow the addition of Fixtures and Results to their website.
